Job Description
We have a great opportunity for an Asset Engineer to join our Distribution Engineering Team. This role can be based in Brisbane, Townsville or Cairns.
Reporting to the Asset Engineering Lead, you will play critical role in supporting our fuel terminals and depots across QLD and NT.
Key responsibilities include:
* Provide multi-disciplined engineering support to the terminal operations and maintenance teams.
* Manage a portfolio of major maintenance and capital projects.
* Develop and implement plant changes in accordance with Management of Change procedures.
* Provide assurance that Asset Management processes are being applied effectively and drive compliance to regulatory requirements and company procedures.
* Identify and implement improvements to Asset Management processes and procedures.
* Support business planning activities, including the development and prioritisation of the Major Maintenance Portfolio and Capital Plan.
Qualifications
About you
* Degree qualified in Mechanical, Civil, Chemical, Electrical or other related engineering field.
* Minimum of 5 years' experience in the oil and gas, petrochemical, mining or similar heavy industry sector
* Solid technical knowledge of operations, maintenance and project requirements in a major hazard facility
* Able to positively influence a diverse stakeholder group that includes senior management, operations, contractors and suppliers.
* Able to work with a high degree of autonomy and effectively prioritise your time in a dynamic work environment.
