Our Federal Government Client is seeking a
System Analyst
. This is a long-term contract role
12 months
with
12 months extension with two (2) possible extensions
, located at our client's
ACT location with a hybrid working arrangement, requiring a minimum of two (2) days per week onsite in Canberra (WFH arrangements to be formalised prior to commencement)
.
As The Selected Candidate, You Will
* Create and manage requirements, user stories, epics, features and product backlog items
* Develop highly detailed technical specifications from business and system requirements
* Conduct pre-analysis and provide advisory input on feasibility and design considerations
* Facilitate workshops with business and technical stakeholders to ensure shared understanding
* Perform GAP analysis and produce visual artefacts including process flows, Visio diagrams and system/data journey maps
* Collaborate with architects, developers, UX designers, product owners and vendors within Agile/SAFe delivery teams
* Support DevOps delivery models by contributing to quality documentation, testing plans and in-sprint QA activities
* Investigate, define and resolve complex business and technical issues
To Be Successful In This Role You Should Have
* Minimum 5 years' experience as a System Analyst or similar role
* Proven ability to document highly detailed technical specifications from requirements
* Strong experience working with Agile Ways of Working (SAFe, Scrum and/or DevOps)
* Experience working with cloud platforms and data warehouse environments
* Strong knowledge and hands-on experience using SQL, including supporting projects through data analysis and mapping documentation
* Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships and communicate effectively with senior stakeholders
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly
It Is Desirable If You Have
* 3+ years of additional relevant experience in similar roles
* Experience with business process design and integration patterns
* Experience working with cloud-based data and analytics platforms
* Demonstrated ability to share database knowledge and mentor or support team members
* A positive, proactive, can-do attitude with strong problem-solving skills
Due to security clearance requirements for this role, candidates must be Australian citizens with
Baseline security clearance.
