This is a full-time, 12 month contract role based in Hobart, TAS 7000, where you will be responsible for driving the business development of SDA Living Australia, a leading provider of Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) services in Victoria, South Australia and Tasmania.
As the NDIS Business Development Specialist, you will play a key strategic role in expanding the company's operations and supporting individuals with disabilities to access high-quality, tailored housing solutions.
What you'll be doing
* Demonstrated experience in a business development or sales role, preferably within the disability or community services. Liaising with key stakeholders, including government agencies, disability service providers and potential clients, to understand their needs and develop customised SDA solutions
* Preparing high-quality proposals and tender submissions to secure new contracts and clients
* Collaborating with the operations team to ensure the seamless delivery of SDA services and a consistently exceptional customer experience
* Contributing to the development of marketing and communication strategies to raise awareness of SDA Living Australia's offerings
* Staying up-to-date with industry regulations, funding models and best practices to ensure the company remains at the forefront of the SDA sector
* Assisting other Business Development Specialists with activities across South Australia and Victoria when required.
What we're looking for
* Significant experience in a business development or sales role, preferably within the disability or community services sector
* Strong understanding of the NDIS, Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) framework and funding models
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build relationships and negotiate effectively
* Proven track record in securing new business through competitive tendering and proposal development
* Keen commercial acumen and the ability to identify and capitalise on market opportunities
* Passion for improving the lives of individuals with disabilities and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service
