We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Reservations Agent to join our team at Wrest Point Hotel & Casino in Sandy Bay.
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, driving business growth in the group's and corporate segments. As a key member of our Southern Reservations Hub, you will be responsible for managing enquiries, coordinating bookings, and working closely with our sales and operations teams.
* Respond to reservation enquiries via phone and email from guests, travel agents, and corporate clients.
* Process reservations, amendments, and cancellations accurately and efficiently.
* Communicate special requests, and VIP arrangements to relevant departments.
* Handle guest complaints professionally, escalating when appropriate.
* Build knowledge of room types, rates, and packages to support upselling.
Key Responsibilities
You will be expected to:
* Maintain a flexible approach to shift work, including early morning starts and late-night finishes, across a seven-day roster.
* Develop strong computer skills, ideally with knowledge in use of a computerized reservations system or similar.
Your Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A proven background in customer service, preferably in a hospitality, tourism, or events environment.
* Clear, confident communication skills, both verbal and written.
* A respect for brand standards and structured booking approaches.
