Position Overview
FairWind is seeking expression of interest from all levels of technicians to join our growing team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for preparing and installing wind turbine components, ensuring quality standards are upheld, and maintaining a strong focus on safety. You will collaborate closely with the installation team and site management, contributing to the successful delivery of renewable energy projects.
The ability to read, interpret, and understand work instructions is essential, ensuring efficient and accurate execution of tasks.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan, prepare, and execute the lifting and installation of wind turbine components, including blades and towers.
* Ensure all tasks comply with safety protocols and quality standards.
* Accurately read, interpret, and follow work instructions and project documentation.
* Complete necessary documentation to support quality assurance and compliance.
* Communicate effectively with the installation team and management to coordinate work activities.
* Adapt to changing project needs and demonstrate flexibility in handling diverse tasks.

Qualifications and Experience:
To be successful in this role, you must meet the following requirements:
* Current High-Risk Work License.
* Construction White Card.
* Current and Valid Driver's License.
* The ability to pass pre-employment medical.
* Must have full Australian working rights
Desirable Qualifications:
* APS experience.
* Valid Global Wind Organization (GWO) Basic Safety Training (BST) certification
* Intermediate/Advanced Rigging Ticket.
* HR License
* Minimum of 3 years' experience in the wind energy industry.
* Elevated Work Platform (EWP) ticket.
* Proven experience in rigging, lifting, and installation of wind turbine components, including blades.
* The ability to read, interpret, and understand work instructions and documentation.
* Vestas Enventus or C&D certification.
* Familiarity with Vestas or other major wind turbine systems.
