About the Role
The successful applicant will be responsible for establishing and maintaining a school culture that promotes positive relationships between students and between students and staff, and engaging parents and the wider community in the educational work of the school.
Adam Road Primary School has engaged in significant work to strengthen relational, restorative and inclusive practices across the community. Grounded in the belief that students thrive when they feel safe, connected and known, the school has embedded approaches that prioritise positive relationships, emotional literacy and proactive support structures for students and families. This work has included a strong focus on trauma-informed practice, restorative conversations, clear behavioural expectations and multi-tiered systems of support that build belonging and accountability.

The successful leader will be relational, reflective, and improvement-focused, with the ability to critically assess change and lead complex problem-solving collaboratively. They will balance high expectations with high levels of support for staff and students, while fostering a culture of growth, trust and continuous improvement.
