- Some of the responsibilities of the role will include:
- Assist product manager with product reviews and testing
- Mentor and coach team members, providing guidance for skills learning and development, growth opportunities, and leadership.
- Lead regular team meetings, providing constructive feedback, recognizing achievements, and proactively addressing challenges.
- Continuously monitor and analyse support metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary changes
**SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE**
A successful Technical Support Representative will demonstrate:
- Expert level knowledge in utilising and optimising a customer support ticketing management system e.g. Freshdesk, Zoho, Zendesk, JIRA etc
- Knowledge of consumer electronics products (highly preferred) with an understanding of technical information and the ability to troubleshot products.
- Electronics retail experience, or be a trade qualified Automotive Electrician and bring previous experience as an installer of car alarms, car audio or aftermarket products
- Background in consumer electronics products or home security systems would be well regarded
- If not trade qualified, you will have worked in technical support role with high volume calls and possess professional communication (verbal & written) skills
- You will enjoy talking to people, providing a high level of technical guidance through detailed discussions, sometimes with non-technical people
