About the Role
Perth‐based, full‐time role Monday through Friday on a 12‐month contract. We are seeking a highly motivated Process Engineer to join our Engineering team.
The successful candidate will work within a multi‐disciplinary team, providing engineering support to offshore gas production facilities, ensuring safe, reliable, optimized, and efficient operations.
Responsibilities
- Provide process engineering support for offshore production operations, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and managing key technical documentation.
- Coordinate periodic safety and risk assessments (e.g., HAZOP, LOPA) and track closure of resulting actions.
- Liaise with external contractors to progress technical deliverables.
- Initiate and manage change processes to support technical modifications.
- Ensure alignment with applicable management systems, engineering standards, and specifications.
- Promote strong HSEQ performance, including process safety and asset integrity.
- Maintain appropriate governance, verification, and assurance across all activities.
- Support continuous improvement and consistency in engineering practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Engineering.
- Minimum 6 years' experience in a relevant engineering role.
- Experience supporting operations within the oil and gas sector.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‐paced environment.
- Strong collaboration skills with proven ability to work in multidisciplinary teams.
- Demonstrated focus on continuous improvement.
- Knowledge of Process Safety Management (PSM) is advantageous.
- Experience with process technical integrity coordination (TIC) is desirable.
- Full working rights in Australia required (Australian citizen, PR holder, or valid working visa).
