Do you enjoy processing accounts payable and receivable, invoicing, and compliance within the transport industry?
These are just some of the duties you will perform in this position with our client, a well-established company in the Lake Macquarie area
If you have worked in the transport or logisticsindustry this is the job for you
Working Monday to Friday 7.30am to 3.30pm, you will:
* Manage daily administrative tasks
* Process invoices, payments, and record management
* Process accounts payable and reconcile
* Check, reconcile, and file transport paperwork (POD)
* Accurate Data entry of compliance documents and record management
* Data entry and Filing of Drivers Paperwork, compliance documents and fatigue management
* Maintain and update transport records, asset register, vehicle service logs, and license registers
* Prepare and maintain spreadsheets, reports, and databases
* Liaise with suppliers, clients, and internal staff
* Provide general office support to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
You must have the following:
* Transport/logistics background knowledge preferred but not necessary
* Basic Knowledge of the eastern seaboard of Australia
* Previous experience in administration and accounts
* Proficiency with MS Office and Xero
* Ability to follow processes and adapt to changing workloads
* Strong attention to detail and time management skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Confident communication with a positive proactive attitude
