We are looking for a skilled leading hand / diagnostic specialist. This isn\'t just a "wrenching" job. You will be the technical heartbeat of our shop, overseeing a team of techs and apprentices, ensuring the highest quality of repair work and tackling the complex diagnostics that come into our shop. If you are a master of your craft who enjoys mentoring others and takes pride in a clean, efficient shop, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
* Diagnose complex mechanical and electrical faults on light vehicles (Petrol & Diesel)
* Min 5 years\' post-apprenticeship, with real hands-on experience in diagnostics and repairs
* Carry out servicing and general repairs
* Effective leadership, communication and organisational skills
* Support and lead our workshop team and help maintain a high standard of work
* Strong diagnostic ability with modern vehicle systems
* Current driver\'s licence
What You Bring to the Table
* Experience: A highly skilled mechanic with strong diagnostic and repair abilities
* Certifications: Cert III Light Vehicle Mechanic
* Tech-Savvy: Proficiency with modern diagnostic software and shop management systems
* Leadership: A positive attitude and the ability to lead by example under pressure
