Signalling Electrician
Job Overview:
As a Signalling Electrician, you will be responsible for installing, testing and commissioning signalling equipment such as train detection, level crossings, point machines, coloured light signals and associated control circuitry. The electrical systems involved vary from 415V floating supplies to ELV d.c control circuits. You may work on a combination of workshop fabrication, on-site installation and commissioning.
Key Responsibilities:
* Install and test signalling equipment
* Commission signalling equipment during scheduled weekend shutdowns
* Work under supervision of qualified Signal Electricians
Requirements:
* Queensland electrical fitter mechanics licence
* Drivers licence
* Railway Signalling qualifications are desirable but not essential as training is provided

What We Offer:
Our team is responsible for replacing and upgrading signalling assets across the entire network, including regional areas. As a Signalling Electrician, you will be working in teams under supervision of qualified Signal Electricians to deliver projects in SEQ and regional areas. You must be prepared and willing to work away from home as needed.
Travel Requirements:
* Project requirements may include extended periods away from home
* Work rotations can involve swings of up to 10 days, with longer projects typically following a 10-days-on and 4-days-off roster
