Drill Operator Role Overview
The role of a drill operator is to ensure the accurate checking of drill holes and recording ground conditions that may impact blasting.
* Responsible for maintaining a clean and tidy drill rig and reporting any maintenance issues.
* Demonstrate a positive attitude towards achieving reliable drill metres, rig utilization, and consumables usage.
* Provide neat and complete documentation for drill reports and pre-start checks.
* Actively participate in safety assessments and be willing to train across various drill rigs in the fleet.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A minimum of 12 months drilling experience in the mining industry with verified machinery skills.
* A proactive attitude with a desire to work reliably as part of a team.
* A current Standard 11 qualification (or willingness to obtain) and a valid driver's license.

Preferred Qualifications
Experience with rotary or top hammer drills is advantageous.
