Delivery DriverAbout the roleOur Driver's typical day isn't just driving and delivering parts.
They play a key role in our branch teams by building strong relationships through high standards of sales and service in a customer facing role.Duties includeCoordinate and manage deliveriesEnsure a safe work environmentSafe driving behavioursDeliver high level customer serviceBuild strong customer bondsSafely deliver parts and products to trade customers, including workshops and dealershipsActively promote products and marketing activities when delivering productsAssist the team with other tasks such as processing orders, dispatching products, processing credits, and customer enquiriesNote - this role will require lifting, bending, climbing and safe driving / machine operation.Who we're looking forAbility to multitask and prioritise deliveries based on urgencyCustomer service mindset; can build strong customer relationshipsFriendly and knowledgeableComfort working independentlyPhysical capacity to perform the duties of the role (including handling products of a heavy nature)Conscious of workplace safety alwaysOngoing commitment to safe driving practicesHold a current/valid driver's licence (manual preferred)Previous customer service experience within a trade/mechanical environment (desirable)Available Mon - Fri and flexible to work other days if requestedFormer GPC team members welcome to apply.
