What You'll Be Doing
* Turning design briefs into fully detailed, production-ready mechanical designs using SolidWorks.
* Playing a key role in project delivery - from concept through to commissioning.
* Providing guidance to design and graduate engineers (if you're keen to mentor).
* Collaborating with internal teams and contractors to bring designs to life.
What We're Looking For
* A degree in Mechanical Engineering (or similar).
* 10+ years' experience in mechanical design for complex automated machinery for production lines.
* Strong design skills in SolidWorks and a practical understanding of how things get built.
* Strong exposure to automation, machinery, and system integration - ideally you have worked for an OEM.
* Confidence to make sound technical decisions and explain them well.
* A proactive, team-oriented mindset with a healthy dose of curiosity.
* New Zealand working rights, and flexibility for occasional travel.
