We are looking for a Senior Estimator who thrives on challenges, enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, and is passionate about creating winning tenders. The role is based in Campbellfield, Victoria and reports into the Estimating Manager.

Key Responsibilities
* Review and analyse bid and tender documentation to ensure a complete understanding of project scope.
* Interpret drawings, geotechnical reports, cultural heritage, and environmental considerations.
* Develop smart, cost-effective construction methodologies in collaboration with key stakeholders.
* Source, negotiate, and assess supplier and subcontractor quotes for compliance and competitiveness.
* Conduct cost breakdowns, risk assessments, and feasibility analyses to build accurate estimates.
* Ensure estimates include all labour, materials, plant, and time considerations.
* Work closely with Project Managers, Engineers, and Subcontractors to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
* Lead internal bid reviews, finalising submission documentation to present the best possible tenders.
* Mentor and guide junior engineers and estimators, sharing your expertise and best practices.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:
* A Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (preferred).
* 5-10 years' experience in a similar estimating role within infrastructure projects.
* Experience in sports field construction, regional, and interstate projects is a bonus
* A keen eye for detail and a knack for problem-solving.
* Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
* The ability to manage multiple tenders simultaneously without missing a beat.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
* Proficiency in Expert Estimation Software (or similar estimating tools).
