Overview
Veterinary Director – Greencross Crown Street, Wollongong. Lead the strategic and operational direction of the clinic, shaping a culture of excellence, compassion, and collaboration. You will lead a team of skilled nurses and 2.5 veterinarians, supported by modern equipment including ultrasound, digital and dental x-ray, biochemistry, electrolyte and hematology machines, internal lab, sterile theatre, and dedicated cat/dog wards.
Greencross Crown Street is a coastal clinic offering lifestyle balance with convenient access to Sydney and proximity to ARH Wollongong for 24/7 emergency care and CT referrals to ensure seamless handover and work/life balance.
Responsibilities
As our Veterinary Director, you’ll guide the strategic and operational direction of the clinic, shaping a culture of excellence, compassion, and collaboration. You’ll lead a team and ensure high-quality patient care and efficient clinic operations.
Qualifications
- 4+ years post-graduate experience
- Strong clinical leadership and mentoring skills, or an interest in developing in this area
- Confidence in consulting, diagnosing, and treating companion animals independently
- Eligibility for registration with the Australasian Veterinary Boards Council (AVBC) or equivalent (NAVLE, AVE, etc.)
