Business Analyst – MUFG Retirement Solutions
The Business Analyst is responsible for undertaking high-quality business analysis activities, to assist with delivery of a variety of client‑specific (GESB – Government Employees Superannuation Board) projects for the MUFG Retirement Solutions business. You will be responsible for all aspects of project delivery including, but not limited to, requirements gathering and documentation, system test case planning, preparation and execution and business change management activities.

Key Accountabilities and main responsibilities
* Work alongside the Project Manager and other business analysts to deliver high quality, on budget and on time projects for GESB and contribute to the successful delivery of revenue generating work for MUFG Pension and Market Services.
* Undertake root cause analysis on identified business/system problems and identify pragmatic solutions for rectification.
* Facilitate discussions at workshops, to help understand stakeholder needs.
* Work closely with business and client stakeholders to investigate, define and document business requirements within specified timeframes.
* Model, analyse and document business process flows, work with internal technical team and external vendors to create system solutions that are 'fit for purpose'.
* Prepare test plans/test cases and complete system testing against agreed business requirements, training and handover material, with ability to present changes to business and support teams.
* Provide post-implementation warranty support to minimise disruption to business users and assist them with user acceptance testing.
* Work proactively with peers and contribute to the identification and implementation of ongoing process improvements.
* Display role model behaviours with the ability to actively collaborate with others.
* Apply standard change and business analyst methodologies to ensure that business and IT change impacts are effectively managed, including identifying, assessing and applying appropriate project governance.
* Adhere to risk management procedures and policies and awareness of RAID management, with the ability to identify and Escalate as appropriate to project manager.
Experience & Personal Attributes
* Three years business analysis and project delivery experience including supporting and implementing system/process enhancements (desirable) within financial services or Superannuation industry.
* Demonstrated awareness of Business Analysis concepts and techniques including BABOK.
* Understanding of basic project methodologies including AGILE.
* SQL skills and experience (desired but not essential).
* Experience with Microsoft suite of tools and competent user of Service Now, Jira and SharePoint.
* Ability to problem solve and interpret 'ambiguous' requirements.
* Excellent analytical, presentation, oral and written communication skills.
* Ability to work well under pressure and be self‑driven.
