About the Role
As a Lecturer in Medical Education, you will contribute to high-quality teaching and research within the College of Medicine and Public Health. This continuing, full-time position involves developing innovative teaching strategies, delivering multi-mode education, and producing impactful research aligned with medical education. You will also engage with internal and external stakeholders to enhance learning outcomes and support the academic and administrative life of the College.
- Deliver engaging undergraduate and postgraduate teaching using contemporary, multi-mode methods.
- Conduct and publish high-quality research, secure external grants, and supervise research students.
- Coordinate topics and contribute to curriculum design, quality assurance, and accreditation processes.
- Build and maintain strategic partnerships with industry and professional organisations to support education and research initiatives.
About You
You are an experienced educator and researcher with a passion for medical education. You bring strong academic credentials, a collaborative mindset, and a commitment to enhancing student learning through cutting-edge teaching and impactful research. Your ability to build relationships and contribute to curriculum design and supervision makes you a valuable member of a dynamic academic team.
- Hold a PhD, EdD or equivalent in a relevant field.
- Demonstrated ability to teach and coordinate topics in a tertiary setting.
- Proven research track record with publications and grant success.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a team-oriented approach.
