Position Type: 48 Month Maximum Term Full Time (9 day fortnight, 38 hours/week)

Salary Range
* Base Salary $29,987 - $36,287 per annum + super
* Adult (over 21 upon commencement) $50,594 per annum + super

Location: Fleet Services – Bohle

Kick‑start your career in the automotive industry with an exciting apprenticeship opportunity! We are seeking a motivated Apprentice Automotive Parts Interpreter to join our team while completing a 4‑year Certificate III in Automotive Sales (Parts Interpretation) through TAFE North Queensland.

This role is ideal for someone with a strong interest in vehicles, machinery and automotive parts, great communication skills, and a desire to learn. You will gain hands‑on experience interpreting parts, assisting the internal Fleet Services team, managing inventory, and supporting workshop operations - all while earning a nationally recognised qualification. You will learn from experienced professionals and build a solid pathway to a long‑term career in the automotive industry.

This apprenticeship can lead to solid career paths like senior parts roles, sales, service advising, or even management in workshops or dealerships — perfect for someone who enjoys working hard, learning on the job, and wants a long‑term trade‑based career with real opportunities to move up.

Qualifications And Experience

In an ideal applicant, we are looking for:

* Willingness to be part of, and promote, a positive safety culture whilst adhering to all Health and Safety policies and procedures.
* Minimum completed of Year 10 with passes in English and Mathematics.
* Minimum of Queensland C class provisional drivers’ licence (or ability to obtain).
* Sound written and verbal communication skills.
* Sound computer skills.
* Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
* Willingness to undertake the requirements to successfully complete the associated qualification.
