A rapidly growing ASX listed company, Genus Pole Foundations Australia Pty Ltd is a subsidiary of GenusPlus Group (GNP). Genus PFA is one of the market leaders in providing asset inspection and reinstatement services for electrical utilities and the private sector.
Due to continued growth across our programs, we are currently seeking a Trade Assistant / Labourer to join our field crew based in Rockhampton, QLD.
About the Role
This is a hands-on outdoor role supporting power pole inspection works across Central Queensland. You will work as part of a small mobile crew assisting Asset Inspectors with field-based tasks to ensure inspections and maintenance works are completed safely and efficiently.
The role operates on a 9-day fortnight roster while working locally in Rockhampton and a 10 days on / 4 days off roster while working away. While based out of Rockhampton, crews regularly travel to work locations throughout Central Queensland. Living Away From Home Allowance (LAFHA) is provided whilst working away.
This role suits someone who enjoys working outdoors, supports a strong work ethic, brings a positive team attitude, travelling for work and being part of a tight-knit crew environment.
What You'll Be Doing
* Assisting Asset Inspectors with power pole inspection and reinforcement works
* Excavating around poles to allow for inspection and treatment
* Installing and replacing inspection tags and site labels
* Supporting site reinstatement and clean-up
* Working safely and efficiently in rural and remote location
Essential criteria
1. White Card (Construction Induction)
2. Current C Class Driver's Licence
3. Physically fit and capable of manual labour
4. Strong work ethic and commitment to safety
5. Ability to travel for work across Central Queensland
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Desirable criteria
* Experience in utilities, construction, civil or labouring roles
* CPR Certificate
* First Aid in an ESI Environment
* High Risk Licence (Forklift)
* HR or Motorcycle Licence
