Full-time position, fixed term until February 2026 Exciting opportunity to join the Sydney Pharmacy School with Dr Mouna Sawan Base Salary from level A – ($109,301 – $116,679) 17% superannuation About the opportunity The Sydney Pharmacy School is recognised as one of the leading centres for pharmacy education in the world. Our team of researchers leads internationally innovative research including medication management to co-design in priority populations, as well as from patient to policy across a range of therapeutic areas. The University of Sydney has a fantastic opportunity to join a multidisciplinary team and support research aiming to educate, empower and support people with dementia and their carers to manage their medications safely. We are seeking a Postdoctoral Research Associate to lead a pharmacy-based project, that aims to develop and implement co-designed medication management interventions for older people living in the community and in aged care. Postdoctoral Research Fellow will be expected to apply their expertise in research methodologies, design and delivery to contribute to the university's standing as a national leader in the discipline of Pharmacy, and engage in research independently. Your key responsibilities will be to: conduct original research independently or as part of a team, focusing on publication, conference presentations, and securing research funding knowledge of qualitative and/or quantitative research methods excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills with sound negotiating and conflict resolution skills and a demonstrated level of tact and discretion in dealing with day to day operational matters maintain a research profile, including publication peer-reviewed journal articles, conference and/or seminar papers develop research collaborations and engage in translational research that result in knowledge transfer leading to commercialisation, improved policy or practice, or enhancement to industry, the profession or community maintain quality, standards and excellence in research activities and output provide informal mentoring and guidance to lower-level academics and supervise postgraduate research students or projects where appropriate. About you doctorate or PhD in pharmacy, medicine, nursing or health sciences proven experience conducting original research and engaging in scholarly activity a developing network of academic, industry and professional partners and stakeholders a developing research profile proven experience supervising and mentoring others.
