About the Role
The Lightstation Attendant is an all-rounder position at Cape Otway Lightstation.
Key responsibilities include:
Housekeeper: Clean and maintain public and site amenities, accommodation, and other facilities to a high standard; perform basic building maintenance as directed.
Café Assistant: Operate the site café to ensure an excellent customer experience.
Ticket Sales Assistant: Serve as the first point of contact for visitors, providing outstanding customer service and meeting customer needs.
Qualifications and Experience
Relevant experience in tourism or hospitality.
Demonstrated experience in providing excellent customer service.
Practical cleaning experience covering a range of cleaning duties.
Experience with safe manual handling techniques and chemical usage.
Current First Aid Certificate.
Barista/Coffee Making experience.
Food handling certificate.
