Job Title: Technology Delivery Leader
This role has been established to support the technology uplift program at a Federal Government Agency. The position will drive business outcomes through the delivery of fit-for-purpose technology solutions.
The Technology Delivery Leader will be responsible for delivering technology solutions using agile or hybrid delivery methodologies, adapting approaches to suit project complexity, team structure, and stakeholder needs.
This includes coordinating cross-functional teams, managing delivery timelines, and ensuring alignment with business objectives. A strong background in IT delivery, technical project management, or similar technology delivery roles is essential for success in this position.
The successful candidate will have excellent collaboration and communication skills to effectively align stakeholders, manage competing priorities, and ensure the timely delivery of high-quality solutions that meet business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead end-to-end delivery of technology solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives, timelines, and quality standards.
* Coordinate cross-functional teams, including developers, testers, business analysts, product owners, and external vendor resources.
* Manage day-to-day operations of the teams, facilitating scrum, tracking and planning activities.
* Develop and maintain delivery plans, schedules, and resource allocations in collaboration with the program manager.
* Monitor progress and performance, proactively identifying risks, issues, and dependencies, and implementing mitigation to help remove blockers and maintain delivery momentum.
* Facilitate communication across technical and non-technical teams to ensure shared understanding of goals, priorities, and program alignment.
* Ensure delivery activities comply with organisational governance frameworks, risk management protocols, and relevant regulatory or security requirements.
* Promote continuous improvement in delivery practices by regularly reviewing team performance, identifying opportunities to enhance processes, and applying lessons learned to future work.
* Support change management and user adoption activities to ensure successful implementation and integration of delivered solutions.
