**The Role**
We are seeking a hands-on **Site Foreman / Supervisor** who can oversee multiple projects, manage teams, and ensure smooth site operations. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in **civil construction and excavation**, who is comfortable operating machinery when required, managing day-to-day site logistics, and interpreting project plans and blueprints.
**Responsibilities**:
Oversee and manage tradespeople and subcontractors on worksites.
Operate excavators and other heavy machinery as needed.
Plan and coordinate site logistics, material deliveries, and resource allocation.
Read and interpret construction plans, ensuring work aligns with design specifications.
Check and verify site measurements and set-out points against project plans.
Implement and enforce OH&S policies to ensure a safe working environment.
Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to specifications.
Liaise with the Project Manager, ensuring smooth communication and problem resolution.
Approve subcontractor invoices and track site expenses.
Conduct site inspections, quality checks, and address any issues promptly.
Drive a company-provided **ute** between sites and manage job tasks.
Refuel and maintain machines, assisting with minor repairs when necessary.
**What We're Looking For**:
**Experience**: Minimum **3-5 years** in civil construction as a **Site Foreman / Supervisor** or similar role.
**Technical Skills**: Ability to read and interpret construction plans and blueprints accurately.
**Excavator Experience**: Ability to operate and manage heavy machinery when required.
**Leadership**: Strong ability to manage and coordinate teams on-site.
**OH&S Knowledge**: Sound understanding of workplace health and safety regulations.
**Problem-Solving**: Quick thinking and practical approach to resolving site challenges.
**Work Ethic**: Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
**Licenses**: White Card **(essential)**, **Excavator Ticket**, HR/MR truck license **(preferred but not required).**

Pay: $70,945.52 - $100,000.00 per year
