Location – Rockhampton
Rockhampton is a thriving metropolitan city situated 20 minutes from the Capricorn Coast. It is the Beef Capital of Australia and supports not only the farming and agricultural communities, but the rich Bowen Basin Coal Mining communities. The community is well supported by private and public primary and high schools. CQ University and TAFE offer tertiary education. Sporting clubs range from soccer to netball to rowing, and there are many parks, walking tracks, botanical gardens, a zoo and Mt Archer for recreation.
Position Description
We urgently require a full‐time General Practitioner to start ASAP. The applicant must hold current General Medical Registration with AHPRA. Salary will be a percentage of gross earnings – negotiated based on experience.
Practice Details
The centre currently has three doctors and has been operating for the past 20 years. The client base is a broad mix of patient demographics with an emphasis on women's health, family health care and chronic disease management. The practice is supported by a full‐time RN, onsite pathology services, a number of visiting specialists and a psychologist. This is a bulk‐billing practice open 7 days.
Schedule
After‐hours work and Saturday & Sunday mornings are on a roster system.
