SHEQ Coordinator Position
Support the delivery of safety, health, environment, and quality initiatives across the region.
Job Description
This is a temporary role that requires strong collaboration skills across all levels of management and staff.
The successful candidate will conduct morning site visits, perform audits and inspections, manage training records, draft safety alerts, assist with onboarding and inductions, and prepare reports.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct site visits and document findings through photographs and reports.
* Perform regular audits and inspections using established guides.
* Manage training records via digital platforms.
* Communicate critical information through safety alerts.
* Support incident reporting and investigations.
* Assist with employee and contractor inductions.
* Deliver high-quality reports and communications.
Team Structure
* Collaborate closely with SHEQ Manager and Return to Work Coordinator.
* Work with site Supervisors who act as key points of contact during visits.
Required Skills and Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience in a WHS-related role, be highly proficient in Microsoft Office, and possess a Certificate IV in WHS (desired but not mandatory).
Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills are essential for this role.
