$2,000 per day Flights & Accommodation Provided MM7 Location The opportunity Step into a highly rewarding locum role supporting two remote Indigenous communities in Central Australia. Working across Ntaria (Hermannsburg) and Utju (Areyonga), you’ll provide vital primary healthcare with the support of Aboriginal Health Practitioners, experienced nurses, and strong links to regional health services. While the work is GP solo, you’ll always have the backing of a collaborative and well-connected clinical team. You’ll manage chronic disease care, preventative health, and acute presentations, with 20-minute consultations allowing for quality patient interaction. The role is Monday to Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm, with no on-call, weekend, or emergency work required. Blocks are available throughout the year, with a minimum two week commitment. Getting there is straightforward: fly into Alice Springs, where Ochre will arrange your travel to the communities - approximately a 1.5-hour drive on sealed roads. This makes the role accessible while still offering a truly remote Central Australian experience.
