Chief Security Architect Position
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Chief Security Architect to design and implement robust security environments.
* Develop, implement, and manage Application Allowlisting configurations, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
* Conduct thorough software vulnerability assessments, perform upgrades and patching as required, and maintain the highest levels of system reliability.
* Perform secure data restorations upon request from customers, maintaining confidentiality and integrity throughout the process.
* Test, implement, monitor, and tune security software/hardware to guarantee optimal performance, identifying potential issues proactively.
* Create and maintain comprehensive documentation and work instructions for security services, facilitating efficient knowledge transfer and implementation.
* Troubleshoot and resolve issues impacting security system availability, performance, capacity, and utilization in accordance with established SLAs, ensuring customer satisfaction.
* Analyze traffic data and provide actionable recommendations for enhancing security infrastructure, driving continuous improvement.
* Offer expert security consultation to customers, encompassing risk management and mitigation strategies, empowering them to make informed decisions.
* Deliver on-site support to customers and field staff, resolving system and application-related issues efficiently and effectively.
Requirements
* At least 2 years' experience in Cyber Security, with hands-on analytics expertise.
* Strong IT security product knowledge (GUI and CLI), enabling effective configuration and troubleshooting.
* Solid understanding of Windows Server, Desktop OS, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, DFS, Exchange, and Teams, with the ability to apply Server Engineer skills to security initiatives.
* Knowledge of technology risk, data privacy, and security compliance regulations, staying up-to-date with industry developments.
* Proven experience supporting information security devices and processes, demonstrating technical expertise.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
* Strong grasp of attack tactics, techniques, and procedures, allowing for proactive threat mitigation.
* Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Eligibility
* Australian Citizenship.
* Ability to obtain an NT Police Work Clearance.
* Eligibility to obtain a Working with Children (WWC) Clearance or Ochre Card.
