The Opportunity
Based in Northgate, this role leads service and project delivery across Queensland for Visy Technology Systems. You'll oversee installation, servicing and support of specialised coding, marking and automation equipment across manufacturing and logistics environments. Working with customers, sales and technical teams, you'll ensure reliable performance, consistent service delivery and strong commercial outcomes. This is a hands‐on leadership role suited to someone who can balance field support, team coordination and project execution in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead installation and servicing of coding and automation systems
* Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical and control system faults
* Manage preventative maintenance and breakdown response
* Coordinate service schedules across multiple customer sites
* Support sales with technical input and solution development
* Supervise and allocate work for field service technicians
* Provide technical guidance and on‐the‐job mentoring
* Oversee workshop operations, tools and spare parts
* Maintain accurate service records and reporting
* Drive improvements in safety, efficiency and service delivery
What You Will Bring
* Trade or tertiary qualification in a relevant technical field
* Strong experience in industrial equipment installation/service
* Proven fault‐finding across electrical and mechanical systems
* Experience leading or supporting technicians in the field
* Ability to manage multiple priorities and service demands
* Strong customer communication and problem‐solving skills
* Experience in manufacturing, automation or packaging
* Solid computer skills across systems and documentation
* Current driver's licence
* Pass a criminal history check and pre‐employment medical (including drug & alcohol testing)
