TAFE SA is seeking an experienced and qualified professional in the area of Disability Services or Aged Care, including Nursing and Allied Health to deliver high-quality training and assessment.
This appointment will initially be a backfill contract with possibility for ongoing appointment to be reviewed and considered prior to end date.
Lecturers at TAFE SA provide a quality educational service of training, assessment and guidance to students in accordance with relevant training package objectives. Lecturers may also be involved in the provision of consultancy services to industry/community clients.
The key responsibilities of the role include:
- Delivering high-quality training and assessment
- Providing guidance to students
- Participating in consultancy services to industry/community clients
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience as a qualified professional within his/her area of expertise, in one or more of the following: Disability Services, Aged care, Nursing and Allied Health
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment TAE40116 or Diploma/higher level qualification in adult education; Or be willing to obtain the Certificate IV in Training and Assessment in the first twelve months of employment
