Hobart Private Hospital has been providing high-quality care to the local community for over 20 years. We are a fully accredited facility with 146 beds co-located with the Royal Hobart Hospital in the heart of the city.
Site Specific Streams Available
* Enrolled Nurse
As an Enrolled Nurse at Healthscope, you will perform a variety of tasks under the supervision of registered nurses. Some of the tasks you may be responsible for include:
* Caring for a group of patients
* Patient admission and discharge
* Medication administration
* Wound care
* Pre- and post-operative care
* Liaising with medical staff and other health professionals
You will have the opportunity to continually develop, improve, and promote best evidence-based practice.
What's Included in the Graduate Program?
1. A 12-month program, available in full-time or part-time roles (minimum 30 hours/week), designed to help early-career nurses and midwives transition into independent practice and enhance their clinical skills.
2. An additional Consolidation Year to ensure you're well-prepared to succeed.
General, Perioperative, Mental Health, and Maternity (Registered Midwives only) graduate streams are available – depending on Hospital preference.
What We'll Need from You
* Evidence of Australian working rights.
* Completion of a nursing or midwifery course within the last six months or expected completion at least one month before starting.
* Availability for a minimum of 30 hours/week, on a rotating roster including AM, PM, night, weekends, and public holidays.
