Food & Desire is on the lookout for an experienced and enthusiastic Event Coordinator to join our growing team in a full-time role (Tue – Sat work week) at our latest venue, Sunnyside Events in Mt Eliza.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work across luxury weddings and premium private and corporate functions.
You’ll be working alongside a passionate, creative, and supportive events team in a fast-paced and fun environment.

About the Role
As the Event Coordinator, you’ll work closely with our clients and internal teams to deliver seamless events from start to finish.
Key responsibilities:
* Managing client communications and providing planning support
* Creating floor plans, run sheets, and event briefs
* Liaising with suppliers and internal departments
* Handling event administration through TripleSeat
* Supporting on-site event execution as needed
About You
You’re an events pro who loves the thrill of creating memorable experiences. You’re calm under pressure, deeply organised, and client focused.
To be successful, you’ll bring:
* 2-5 years’ experience in event coordination
* Strong communication and relationship-building skills
* A creative eye for detail and passion for food & wine
* Excellent admin and time management skills
* Availability to work weekends
* Availability to work across both the Mornington Peninsula and Melbourne venues
