We are seeking an APS6 Entry Level Program Manager to lead and coordinate the recruitment and program delivery of Treasury’s graduate, entry level and enterprise-wide recruitment processes.
About the role:
This role sits within Treasury’s Entry Level Programs (ELP) team in the People and Organisational Strategy Branch (Human Resources). The team is responsible for delivering Treasury’s graduate, entry level and enterprise-wide recruitment processes, which support the department’s future workforce. Graduate and Entry Level Programs are Treasury’s primary entry point for new talent and play an important role in maintaining Treasury’s reputation as an employer of choice within the APS.
The APS6 role leads and coordinates recruitment and program delivery activities, including entry level and bulk recruitment, assessment design, recruitment marketing and attraction strategies, contract and provider management, and end to end project coordination. The role is responsible for ensuring recruitment activities are delivered efficiently, compliantly and to a high standard.
The role operates in a fast paced environment and is responsible for managing multiple competing priorities. It leads and coordinates complex and time critical recruitment activities across graduate, entry level and enterprise wide recruitment rounds (including APS and Executive Assistant bulk recruitment). The role requires sound judgement, strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing deadlines.
The role engages with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders, including business areas, senior leaders, universities, external recruitment providers, other APS agencies and students. It also supports graduate recruitment marketing and outreach activities, attendance at career and university events, candidate management, and provides advice on assessment approaches that comply with APS legislation and policy.
Please note that occasional interstate travel may be required.

* Project management skills, including planning, coordinating and delivering complex activities to agreed timeframes.
* Experience in recruitment or people related functions, particularly bulk or entry level recruitment.
* Sound understanding of APS recruitment legislation, merit principles and requirements, and the ability to apply them in recruitment setting (or the ability to quickly acquire).
* Experience designing or coordinating selection and assessment activities, including interviews, written tasks or other assessment methods.
* Experience supervising staff, including allocating work, providing guidance and supporting performance and development.
* Experience in marketing, attraction activities or career events is desirable.
