Accounting and Finance Role in South-West Sydney
About the Opportunity
A growing organization with a strong global presence seeks an experienced professional to join their team. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, this broad and varied role offers autonomy and opportunities for growth.
Key Responsibilities
1. Manage accounts payable and receivable processes
2. Oversee a small payroll and provide administrative support to the sales team as needed
3. Perform bank statement reconciliations, balance sheet, and general ledger reconciliations
4. Prepare business activity statements and month-end reports
5. Coordinate company fleet management, registration renewals, fuel, and credit cards
6. Run weekly and monthly reports for management
7. Assist with event coordination and trade show logistics
8. Create sales orders and quotes for spare parts
9. Maintain order flow between warehouse and external parties
10. Arrange dispatch dockets and consignment notes
Requirements
1. Previous experience in a similar position with exposure to various finance and administration functions
2. Strong organizational and time management skills
3. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
4. Intermediate to advanced level proficiency in Microsoft packages
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
6. High levels of accuracy and attention to detail
7. Familiarity with MYOB accounting software
