We currently have a position available for a Machine Operator. The Machine Operator is responsible for setting up, operating and maintaining machinery to ensure safe, efficient production.
The role requires technical ability, attention to detail and adherence to safety standards, with qualifications typically at Certificate II–III level or equivalent experience. Main Responsibilities:
* Set up and prepare machinery for operation (install components, select settings)
* Operate machines and adjust controls to regulate processing activities
* Monitor machine performance to ensure efficiency and product quality
* Identify faults, troubleshoot issues and report defects
* Perform routine maintenance, cleaning and minor repairs
* Load and unload materials into machines safely
* Conduct quality checks on finished products
* Maintain production records and logs
* Follow workplace health and safety (WHS) procedures at all times
* Assist with continuous improvement and operational efficiency initiatives
Skills: Technical Skills:
* Ability to operate industrial or specialised machinery.
* Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability.
* Understanding of production processes and quality standards.
* Ability to read instructions, manuals and job specifications.

Physical Requirements:
* Ability to stand for long periods.
* Manual handling and lifting capability.

Experience:
* Previous experience operating machinery in manufacturing, construction, processing or similar environments preferred.
* Experience with machine setup, adjustments and minor maintenance highly regarded.
Qualifications:
* AQF Certificate II or III (ANZSCO Skill Level 4) or equivalent.
* At least one year of relevant experience may substitute for the formal qualifications listed above.
Annual Salary: $76k - $86k
