We are looking for a dynamic and forward-thinking General Manager with the Allied Make it Happen attitude
Someone who can influence and deliver change, who can further develop and lead a high performing team to establish new benchmarks for customer service, commercial performance, and team capability.
**Responsibilities**:
- Manage and responsible for Radio Room / PUD / Freight Pick up / Fleet departments nationally
- Profit and loss accountability and cost control for Distribution Division
- Ensure suitable training of staff is provided.
- Interaction with both external and internal customers.
- Driving and implementing team strategies.
- Problem solving skills, streamline and continuously improve operations.
**Who you are**:
- First and foremost, you deliver actions over words - you Make it Happen
- You have 10+ years of management experience.
- You have transport industry experience, including; freight distribution, courier, and taxi truck services.
- You have a thorough understanding of same-day distribution.
- You MUST be a business operator who can run the engine room in transport.
