Key Responsibilities
Conduct civil and geotechnical site investigations, including field sampling, soil testing, drilling supervision, and associated analyses.
Prepare detailed civil and geotechnical engineering reports, including soil classification, foundation assessments, compaction control, bearing capacity and slope stability reports.
Analyse geotechnical, geological, and civil engineering data to support infrastructure, structural, and construction design.
Provide technical engineering advice to clients, contractors, and internal project teams.
Ensure all engineering work complies with relevant Australian Standards, project specifications, and WHS requirements.
Coordinate with drillers, surveyors, field technicians, and engineers to deliver project tasks accurately and efficiently.
Monitor and assess geotechnical and civil engineering risks, recommending appropriate engineering solutions.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
Minimum 3+ years' civil or geotechnical engineering experience.
Strong understanding of soil mechanics, foundation engineering, and geotechnical investigation methodologies.
Ability to interpret field and laboratory data and produce high-quality engineering reports.
Knowledge of relevant Australian Standards and geotechnical testing codes.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work both independently and in a team.
Valid Australian driver's licence (preferred).
