You’ll play a key role in increasing awareness, reducing stigma, and improving access to vital health services for young people, their families, and the broader community. You’ll be part of a collaborative team that is committed to inclusion, cultural safety, and high-quality service delivery. About the role: Reporting to the Team Leader – Community Awareness and Engagement Officer, you will be responsible for promoting the services of headspace Warwick and supporting early access to youth health and mental health services. Your responsibilities will also include: Supporting the development and delivery of a Community Awareness Strategy; Planning and coordinating events and campaigns to promote mental health literacy and early help-seeking; Engaging young people through the Youth Reference Group and other participation initiatives; Assisting in the development and support of the Family and Friends Advisory Group; Building and maintaining partnerships with community organisations and stakeholders; Delivering education sessions and community outreach, including school-based programs; Managing social media, website content, and promotional materials; Collaborating with clinical teams to ensure safe and effective service promotion; Contributing to an annual community engagement and health promotion calendar; and Representing headspace Warwick at community events, networks, and professional forums. About you: To be successful in the role, you will have a qualification in youth work, community development, public health, or a related field, along with experience in community engagement or health promotion. You will demonstrate high levels of communication and relationship-building skills, along with experience in planning, delivering, and evaluating programs or events. You will be confident working both independently and as part of a team, with good organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities effectively. You will also require a: Drivers licence; Police check; and Valid Working with Children check (Blue Card). How to Apply?
