Our Burwood East pharmacy has an exciting opportunity for a friendly, self-motivated and highly organised Dispensary Technician to join our team on a Full-Time basis.
The Dispensary Technician will support Pharmacists’ in timely and accurate dispensary operations.
Working closely with the Pharmacists, your duties will include:
· Prepare and pack medications (e.g. DAA/blister packs) accurately and efficiently.
· Support pharmacists in dispensing for aged care residents under supervision.
· Maintain and update resident medication profiles and charts
· Communicate with aged care staff regarding medication queries and changes
· Monitor and manage stock levels for aged care medications
· Use pharmacy software (e.g. Fred) to manage dispensing and records
· Provide friendly, qualified service aligned with Pharmacy 777’s care model.
Aged Care experience is highly desirable whilst previous dispensary technician qualification is essential.
It is expected that you will be flexible to meet the operational requirements of the pharmacy, including early starts, late finishes and weekend/public holiday work, as our pharmacy operates 7 days.
