As a Data Analyst specializing in Data Regulation, Risk, and Protection, you will play a crucial role in analyzing and managing data to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, mitigate risks, and protect sensitive information. You will collaborate with various departments to develop and implement effective data management strategies, conduct risk assessments, and ensure robust data security.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Data Analysis and Reporting**:Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in data to detect potential risks or compliance issues. Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for stakeholders.
- **Regulatory Compliance**:Ensure all data management practices adhere to relevant regulations and standards, such as GDPR, CCPA, and other data protection laws.
- **Risk Management**:Perform risk assessments to identify potential threats to data security and develop mitigation strategies.
- **Data Protection**:Implement and maintain measures to safeguard sensitive information from unauthorized access and breaches.
- **Collaboration**:Partner with IT, legal, and compliance teams to develop and enforce data governance policies and procedures.
- **Training and Awareness**:Educate staff on data protection and compliance best practices.
- **Continuous Improvement**:Stay informed about the latest developments in data regulation, risk management, and data protection to enhance the organization's data management practices.
**Qualifications**:
- **Education**:Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
- **Experience**:At least 3-5 years of experience in data analysis, risk management, or data protection.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., SQL, Python, R).
- Strong understanding of data protection regulations and standards.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
