We're a dynamic, multi-site retail operator expanding into Gympie. We are on the hunt for a retail superstar to lead our newest store.
As Store Manager, you'll take ownership of all aspects of store operations, setting high standards and leading by example. You'll guide a small, customer-focused team to deliver outstanding service and create a shopping experience that's full of variety, value, and energy.
This is a hands-on, physically active role in a fast-paced environment. You'll be managing high volumes of sales and overseeing the efficient merchandising of large pallet deliveries to keep the store running smoothly and looking sharp.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee all aspects of daily store operations, including staffing, inventory, merchandising, and customer service
* Lead, coach, and motivate a small team to deliver exceptional customer experiences
* Manage high volumes of stock and ensure efficient merchandising of pallet deliveries
* Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to meet or exceed targets
* Maintain store presentation and cleanliness to company standards
* Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints with professionalism and care
* Assist with rostering, training, and performance management of team members
* Ensure compliance with safety, security, and operational policies
Qualifications
* Proven experience in retail management or supervisory roles
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and guide a team
* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
* Comfortable with physically active work and fast-paced environments
* Solid understanding of sales performance, inventory control, and merchandising
* Proficiency in POS systems and retail reporting tools, excel and MS Office
* Customer-focused mindset with a passion for delivering great service
