Construction Site Carpenter Job
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Carpenter to join our team.
Candidates will work across a range of projects performing structural and formwork carpentry, setting out, and other construction duties as required.
About the Role
This is a permanent position working on residential and commercial construction sites. You'll be responsible for performing carpentry and formwork tasks to a high standard, reading and interpreting building plans, drawings, and specifications, and using hand tools and power tools safely.
* Performing structural and formwork carpentry
* Reading, interpreting, and applying building plans, drawings, and specifications
* Constructing, installing, and repairing formwork, framing, doors, windows, fixtures, and structural outdoor features
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A minimum of 2 years' experience as a Carpenter
* A Certificate III in Carpentry (or equivalent qualification)
* A strong understanding of construction methods, timber framing, and formwork
* The ability to read and interpret drawings, plans, and specifications
* A White Card (Construction Induction Safety Certificate)
* Skilled in safe use of hand tools and power tools
* Attention to detail
* Ability to work independently and within a team
