The Role
Reporting directly to the Managing Director, this position will be responsible for managing bookkeeping and financial administration functions for a portfolio of clients. The successful candidate will work closely with internal stakeholders and clients to ensure accurate financial records and high‐quality service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
* End‐to‐end bookkeeping for a range of clients
* Preparation and lodgement of BAS and IAS
* Accounts payable and receivable management
* Bank and account reconciliations
* Assisting with month‐end and year‐end reporting
* Preparation of financial reports
* Responding to client enquiries and providing ongoing support
* General administrative duties as required
About You
* Previous bookkeeping experience in a public practice, bookkeeping firm, or similar environment
* Strong working knowledge of Xero
* Sound understanding of GST and compliance requirements
* Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
* Strong communication and relationship‐building abilities
* Ability to work autonomously and manage competing priorities
