Job Description
Steam & Clean, part of the are-able's Social Enterprises, is seeking a Support Worker to join our team and make a real difference every day. Our Social Enterprises department offers a large range of services within the community, such as the Big R's Shed, Clear Cut, eWaste and Create & Collate. About the role
Steam & Clean provides commercial car detailing and cleaning services while supporting people with disability to engage in meaningful employment and skill development. This physically active role involves working alongside supported employees, assisting them in developing work skills and achieving their professional goals.
Key responsibilities include:
* Providing on-the-job support, supervision, and encouragement to supported employees
* Assisting in vehicle cleaning and detailing tasks
* Promoting independence, safety, and quality outcomes
* Maintaining a positive, inclusive, and empowering environment
This is a casual opportunity to assist in times where our existing staff are away on leave. Let us know availability and we will aim to work around your schedule and commitments.
Desired Skills and Experience
Ideally we're looking for someone who has experience in disability support, community services, or a related field. You will have high level interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, along with strong administration and time management skills. In addition, you will be able to exercise initiative and creativity in achieving desired outcomes.
In this role you will require a:
* Current NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
* Current driver's licence
