APX Traffic Management Pty Ltd is seeking a talented TMD Designer to join our dynamic team in Coomera, Queensland. As a full-time TMD Designer, you will be responsible for designing and developing innovative traffic management solutions that contribute to the company's mission of improving road safety and efficiency.
What you'll be doing
* Designing traffic management plans and layouts for a variety of projects, including construction sites, special events, and long-term infrastructure improvements
* Conducting site assessments and analysis to determine the most effective traffic management strategies
* Collaborating with cross‐functional teams, such as engineers and project managers, to ensure the successful implementation of traffic management solutions
* Staying up‐to‐date with industry regulations, guidelines, and best practices to ensure compliance
* Providing technical support and advice to internal and external stakeholders
* Continuously seeking opportunities to optimise and improve traffic management processes and solutions
What we're looking for
* Tertiary qualification in Urban Design, Town Planning, or a related field
* Minimum 3 years of experience in traffic management design or a similar role
* Demonstrated expertise in traffic modelling and simulation software, such as SIDRA or VISSIM
* Strong understanding of traffic management principles, regulations, and best practices
* Excellent problem‐solving and critical‐thinking skills
* Effective communication and collaboration abilities
* Commitment to staying up‐to‐date with industry developments and trends
