As you begin your career with TechnologyOne, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our products deliver a high-quality enterprise experience. You'll be responsible for validating that our software meets rigorous quality standards, ensuring it functions seamlessly and is free of bugs for our customers.
What you'll be doing...
* Analyse requirements and acceptance criteria to develop persona-based test cases that ensure expected outcomes in an agile environment.
* Collaborate with stakeholders, including business analysts and developers, to clarify ambiguities and create fit-for-purpose test cases.
* Coordinate with a team of testers to ensure comprehensive end-to-end integration testing.
* Perform functional, user acceptance, and regression testing, replicating real-world scenarios to ensure high-quality outcomes.
* Support test planning, maintain test plans, and implement risk-based execution strategies, including automated testing.
* Stay updated on customer business processes to create relevant and effective test cases.
* Conduct testing within agreed timelines and quality standards, driving timely delivery.
* Log, verify, and manage defects throughout the testing lifecycle.
* Follow testing best practices, leveraging tools for automation, reporting, and data set configuration management.
* Continuously seek process improvements, contribute to internal forums, and enhance efficiencies in systems and workflows.
* Basic understanding of end-to-end testing activities for software/applications.
* Knowledge of, or exposure to, mobile or web test automation tools such as Appium or Selenium is considered a bonus.
* Familiarity with industry best practice testing tools, methodologies, and frameworks.
* Strong time management skills; able to proactively prioritize and switch between tasks.
* Effective communication skills, including the ability to communicate in writing and verbally with stakeholders.
* Awareness of security and privacy considerations in software development.
* Basic exposure to Test Management and Automated Testing tools.
* Basic experience managing data sets for testing purposes.
* Understanding of working in an Agile work environment.
* Be located in Brisbane and available to work a hybrid arrangement, with 3 days in the office and 2 days from home
