Job Description
We are seeking a Quality Manager to lead the implementation of quality systems across complex defence programs, ensuring compliance, continuous improvement, and excellence in delivery. As a key member of our team, you will inspire and develop a team of Quality Engineers, fostering collaboration and high performance through a strategic mindset paired with strong operational execution.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the deployment and execution of Quality Management Systems across multiple programs and business lines.
* Manage and mentor a team of Program Quality Engineers, ensuring delivery of assurance and compliance activities.
* Oversee risk, audit, and non-conformance management, ensuring alignment with ISO9001, AS9100, and defence standards.
* Partner with Program Managers and stakeholders to drive continuous improvement and quality strategy.
* Ensure product and service validation meets regulatory, contractual, and customer requirements.
* Represent the business in quality reviews with customers, regulators, and third-party auditors.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Proven experience in quality or technical management, with strong people leadership skills.
* Knowledge of ISO9001, AS9100, and Regulatory Frameworks.
* Strong communicator with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
* Inclusive, collaborative leadership style with a focus on continuous improvement and service-led delivery.
* Tertiary qualification preferred and certification in a quality-related field is essential.
* Defence security clearance or eligibility to obtain.
* Eligibility to be cleared for International Traffic In Arms (ITAR) regulations.
