About the business

The Haire Truck & Bus Repairs Pty Ltd are a family-owned business. Based in Albury/Wodonga for more than 30 years.

We provide mechanical service and repairs to all kinds of diesel vehicles.

About the role

We are seeking a friendly, customer focused person who excels under pressure, an all-rounder to join our small, but busy team.

You will be the first point of contact, and will be performing all manner of administrative duties to support our workshop operations, it is a diverse role.

Your duties will include, but are not limited to:

* Office administrative duties and reception, including filing
* Invoicing functions (debtors and creditors)

* Extracting information from job management system to produce accurate sales invoices in a timely manner.

* Analysing labour and materials used on jobs to ensure sales invoice charges are accurate
* Matching purchase orders and purchase invoices
* Price checking purchase invoices
* Service bookings, quotes and customer updates
* Customer & supplier enquiries
* Liaising with technicians
* Working closely with the workshop team
* Basic inventory and stock maintenance
* Parts ordering, pickups, receipt and distribution
* Attending to incoming/outgoing goods
* Processing/Shipping orders
* Competent in the use of MYOB, or a similar accounting program

* Ability to multitask
* High level of attention to detail, and organizational skills
* Prefer MYOB experience
* Ability to prioritise work
* Ability to excel under pressure
* Flexibility - a team player that is happy to assist in all areas of administration
* Readiness to carry out any other duties required to achieve the key business targets

We are looking for someone with the necessary skills and willingness to grow into this diverse role.

The position is casual; 20 hours per week with potential to more hours, plus flexibility to cover staff leave.

Initial hours to be negotiated, dependent on training requirements

Skills and experience

* Prefer MYOB experience
* Current Drivers licence
* Knowledge of the automotive industry would be an advantage
* Excellent work ethic, be highly motivated & reliable, and able to work under pressure
