We are seeking a reliable and proactive Warehouse Assistant. This role involves supporting daily warehouse operations, ensuring accurate stock management, smooth dispatch processes, and maintaining a safe and organised working environment. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, a good work ethic, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities
* Accurate inventory management and stock control
* Picking and packing orders efficiently and accurately
* Loading vans for deliveries and dispatch
* Conducting occasional deliveries as required
* Receiving stock, checking quantities, and reporting discrepancies
* Entering stock received from suppliers into our business system (Tencia)
* General warehouse maintenance, organisation, and cleanliness
* Opening and locking up the warehouse when required
* Booking courier orders and managing daily dispatch
* Ensuring correct FIFO stock rotation procedures are followed
* Adhering to WHS guidelines and safe warehouse practices
Requirements
* Valid Forklift Licence
* Valid Driver’s Licence
* Experience in a warehouse, logistics, or inventory role (preferred)
* Ability to lift and move stock safely
* Basic computer skills and confidence using business software
* Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills
* Reliable, punctual, and able to work autonomously
