Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and reliable professional to join our team as a Warehouse Associate. This role involves receiving and processing incoming stock, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, organizing and retrieving stock in the warehouse, delivering products to customers, assisting with retail sales and battery fittings, providing outstanding customer service to all internal and external stakeholders, maintaining a clean and safe workplace, and adhering to the company's policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
* Receive and process incoming stock, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
* Pick and fill orders from stock, meeting delivery deadlines and quality standards.
* Package and ship orders efficiently, minimizing damage and delays.
* Organize and retrieve stock in the warehouse, optimizing storage space and accessibility.
* Deliver products to customers, ensuring timely and courteous service.
* Assist with retail sales and battery fittings, providing expert advice and support.
* Provide exceptional customer service to all internal and external stakeholders, resolving issues promptly and professionally.
* Maintain a clean and safe workplace, adhering to company policies and procedures.
Requirements:
* Forklift license with proven experience.
* Driver's license with a clean record.
* Physical ability to lift batteries up to 25 kg on a regular basis.
* Previous experience working in the automotive industry is advantageous.
* Excellent inventory and housekeeping skills.
* High levels of integrity and reliability.
* Awareness of strict Safety & OHSE Policies.
* Computer literacy.
